The company acknowledges that the misuse or abuse of alcohol and illegal drugs by employees can negatively impact their job performance and pose serious risks to the safety, productivity, and efficiency of both themselves and their colleagues.

Therefore, the use, possession, distribution, sale, or purchase of illegal drugs or substances, whether obtained under medical prescription, on company premises is strictly prohibited and may result in appropriate disciplinary action, including termination. Additionally, as the company is legally responsible for workplace safety, it reserves the right to modify the outlined policies within the boundaries provided by the law.

Alcohol and illegal drug use during working hours are strictly prohibited. Furthermore, it is strongly advised against using these substances outside of working hours if their effects persist during subsequent work periods.

To enforce these policies, McDermont implements a drug testing program as deemed necessary and without prior notice, to detect the presence of prohibited substances in its workplace. The company also expects its contractors to adhere to similar standards of conduct regarding substance use.

2. Implementation of Quality Management System: We will implement and adhere to the Group Quality Management System, ensuring continuous measurement and monitoring to prevent non-conformities and enhance effectiveness.
3. Staff Training and Supervision: We will ensure that our staff receives adequate training and supervision to enable them to understand and utilize the Quality Management System effectively.
4. Continuous Improvement: We will benchmark our performance against established metrics and strive for continual improvement in our quality performance.

The organization and arrangements for implementing this policy are detailed within our company Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures. Our quality standards are aligned with those of our Technical Partner, who are already ISO 9001:2015 certified.
